Quadrant Biosciences

The Beginning

In 2021, it was time for this little startup to head to the big leagues with a Series A fundraising campaign with a minimum goal of raising $50k.

The Campaign

After deciding Wefunder would be the best platform to bring our fundraising to life, the team set to work. We had to tell the public who Quadrant Biosciences was, prove that we’d been up to some very cool stuff the past few years, and most importantly, convince them to join our cause.

The big challenge? Educate the general public on what epigenetics is and why it mattered. From concussion to autism testing (and spoiler alert: COVID testing too), this little known word actually affected a lot of our scientific breakthroughs.

The Execution

Over the course of 3 months, we were able to…

  • Create a “Who we are” company video that broke down our mission in a digestible way that got over 700,000 views

  • Create and test over 300 ads in a campaign that adhered to strict fundraising regulations with resulting CTRs as high as 8% and CPCs as low as $0.10 on Google Ads.

  • Produce weekly content that informed our interested audience and new investors

  • Leverage recent accomplishments, like winning a New York Project of the Year award, with press releases, earning media placements in publications like NBC, MSN, and Fox

  • Write and execute an investor-driven landing page and improve the corporate website to lower bounce rate by 25% and increase time spent on page to an average 1.5 minutes

The Results

By the time Quadrant Biosciences Wefunder wrapped up, we exceeded our expectations. The round rasied a total of $1,339,935 from almost 1,400 new investors from people all across the board — including parents, clinicians, and investor enthusiasts.

“I see the need for a faster way to diagnose autism and I truly believe that this is a breakthrough in this industry. I have struggled with ADHD (Diagnosed in First grade) and a diagnosed "Processing Disorder" my entire life. It never stopped me for I have a Mechanical Engineering Degree as well as am studying for my MBA. I believe that testing for Autism should be much easier and cost friendly to prevent misdiagnosis at an early age. If this technology can also diagnose ADHD at an early age it could be very beneficial.”
